The Agency is a suspense-filled drama about the people
who work for the Central Intelligence Agency, is the first
television series ever granted permission to film inside
CIA headquarters. Each episode focuses on the agents who
put their lives on the line in the name of national security,
the means by which their objectives are realized and the
moral and ethical questions they face in the course of duty.
Senator Tom Gage, a former war hero and a presidential hopeful,
is the recently appointed director of the embattled agency,
a man who isn't afraid to ask the questions that might shake
things up in his new post. He enlists Robert Quinn to be the
Head of Homeland Security despite the fact the two don't always
see eye-to-eye. Gage's deputy, Carl Reese, is often put in the
unenviable position of consigliere/hatchet man. A.B. Stiles
is the newly recruited operative willing to risk his life
in the field to secure national safety. Terri Lowell is a
wizard in the graphic design department whose ambition
and good instincts have made her a prime candidate for
fieldwork. She's assisted by Lex, a young computer wizard
who works side-by-side with her on time-sensitive missions.
Guiding them is Joshua Nankin, head of the Office of
Technical Services, who oversees the race to supply the
agency's undercover operatives with the tools of their
trade. Jackson Haisley is a widowed father of two and
a master intelligence officer who longs for the
overseas transfer he was once promised.
The mission of this formidable group is to combat terrorism,
nuclear threats, biological warfare and any an
all assaults on the United States.
